CORNELIUS (CORK) REMPEL
Cornelius (Cork) Rempel died Feb. 24. He was born May 19, 1935 in Osborne, Man to John and Susanna Rempel. They moved to Chilliwack, B.C He logged, then attended vocational school in Nanaimo, becoming an automotive electrician for Delisle Auto Electric. He married Caroline Voth May 6, 1961. He worked at Chilliwack Ready-Mix, Finning Tractor, Lineham Logging, Cheam Contracting and Hope Ready-Mix. He was known for his integrity, honesty and conscientiousness. He enjoyed creating and recycling, restoring motorcycles, lawn mowers, sawmills and making gifts for his grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 grandson, he is mourned by Carol; sons Ramone and Todd; 4 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 1 sister.
