MRS. SARAH SEIBEL REISWIG

Our precious mother, Sarah Seibel Reiswig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christof Seibel, was born on August 3, 1877, on a farm near Marion, Kansas. Here she spent her childhood days and also accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was baptized near Marion, Kansas, and later united with the Mennonite Brethren Church.

In the year 1894 she was married to our father,John H. Reiswig, at Hillsboro, Kansas. This union was blessed with12 children. Two of these, a son and a daughter, passed on to glory during their childhood days.

Our parents lived on a farm near Hillsboro until 1918. In this year they moved to Balko, Okla., again making their home on a farm. In 1929 our father was called on to glory.

In 1938 mother decided to move to Reedley, Calif. Here she spent the rest of her years, the last year being spent in the Reedley Home for the Aged.

The Lord answered the cry of this longing heart Friday, Jan. 24, 1958, at 12:00 noon when He granted her an abundant entrance into the glories of heaven.
