Well-Known Reedley Music Instructor Dies in Illinois

Reedley, Calif. — Memorial services were conducted Aug. 12 at the First Mennonite Church here for Roy Reimer, 40, vocal music instructor at Reedley College who died unexpectedly Aug. 8 at Evanston, Ill.

Mr. Reimer was receiving treatment for a blood clot at an Evanston hospital at the time of death. He was attending Northwestern University while on sabbatical leave from the college here.

He was active in civic affairs and the First Mennonite Church, where he was a choir director. Survivors include his widow, thee sons and two daughters.
