Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Reimer, 83, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church by the pastor, Rev. Ronald Krehbiel. She died Friday morning, April 30, at Friendly Acres Home for Aged in Newton where she had been a resident since August 1975. Mrs. Reimer, the former Maria Pankratz, was a native and long-time resident of Marion County. She married C. C. Reimer at Lehigh in 1915, and he died in 1970. Surviving are three sons, Ernest of Westminster, Colo., Dan of Fort Collins, Colo., and Randolph of route 3, Hillsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Randolph Schmidt of Route 2, Newton; one sister, Mrs. John S. Reimer of La Mirada, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
