MR. GEORGE REIMER

Mr. George Reimer was born in Russia in 1908. He has lived in Yarrow for the past 35 years. Mr. Reimer was a carpenter by trade. He was probably best known for his activity in the field of music. He was conductor of the Yarrow M.B. Church choir for most of the time that he lived in Yarrow, and his sudden death came a few hours after he had conducted a choir practice. Everyone was shocked by Mr. Reimer's sudden death (heart attack) and friends came from far and near for the funeral.

Mourning his death are his wife, Lena, four sons: William, Germany; Rudy, Abbotsford; John, Yarrow; and Bob, at home. Three daughters, Mrs. Holda Fast, Vancouver, Mrs. Elfrieda Klassen, California, and Irene at home. There are also four grandchildren.
