• Mrs. Kate Regier, 87, died Aug. 27 at Sunshine Home in Buhler after a long illness. She was a native of the Buhler community, residing at Moundridge most of her life and in Newton from 1952 to 1962. Her husband, John F. Regier, died in 1936. The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at the West Zion Church, Moundridge, with Rev. Marlin Kim, and Rev. Curt Siemens officiating. Survivors include a son, John Warren of Moundridge, four daughters, Mrs. Loris Habegger of Pandora, O., Mrs. Edward Geist of Burrton, Mrs. Ralph Harrel of Burlington, Colo., and Mrs. Everett Lakin of Salina; one sister, Mrs. D. P. Dick of McPherson; and 12 grandchildren.
