Pioneer Farmer Called by Death

Corn, Okla. - —Funeral services for J. J. Regier, 77, well-known retired farmer of the Corn community, were held at the M. B. church here Sept. 9. He died at the Clinton hospital Sunday, Sept. 6, after a long illness.

Mr. Regier was born in Russia and came to this country at the age of seven. He operated a farm northwest of Corn for 37 years, retiring and moving to town in 1946.

Surviving him are his wife, four sons and four daughters, and a number of grandchildren.
