Funeral services for Cornelius P. Regier, 94, of Hesston, were held June 15 at Emmaus Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater, with Rodney Crowell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A retired farmer and dairyman, he moved from the farm to Newton in 1972 and to Hesston in 1983. Survivors include his wife, Susie (Wedel); one son, Lawrence of Palm City, Fla.; two daughters, Darlene Regier of Hillsboro and Dorothea Goering of North Newton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His first wife, Helen (Toevs), died in 1970.

Funeral services for Cornelius P. Regier, 94, of Hesston, were held June 15 at Emmaus Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater, with Rodney Crowell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A retired farmer and dairyman, he moved from the farm to Newton in 1972 and to Hesston in 1983.
