Memorial services for Minnie Voth Regier, 96, of Newton were held Feb. 8 at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton. Darrell Fast and Renee Sauder officiated. Burial was at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church Cemetery. A former teacher and Bethel Deaconess Hospital employee, she died Feb. 5 at Bethel Home for the Aged. She was a member of Bethel College Mennonite Church, and Bethel Hospital and Home Auxiliary. She had lived in Newton since 1947, moving from rural Moundridge. Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Wiens and Bertha Gerber of Newton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, John U., preceded her in death in 1947.
