Severe Burns From Kerosene Explosion Are Fatal to Mrs. Regier
Word was received here Tuesday that Mrs. Mildred Regier of Burrton, died at the hospital in Hutchinson from burns she suffered at her home last Friday.
According to the report, Mrs. Regier was burned when the kerosene can which she used to kindle a fire in the stove exploded. She was able to bring sone of the children who were in the house to safety before she collapsed from the flames which had enveloped her. Mrs. Regier is the mother of six children.
Whether or not any damage was done to the home by the fire was not stated in the report.
