WELL KNOWN REEDLEY RESIDENT FATALLY INJURED IN ACCIDENT
According to a report in the Reedley, Calif., Exponent, John M. Regier, who formerly resided in Kansas and is well known in the Hillsboro and Moundridge communities, died recently as result of injuries received in an accident. The report as given in the Exponent is as follows:
John M. Regier, age 87, died in the Reedley Hospital Wednesday, September 12, at 4 p.m. He had been a resident of the Reedley community for the last 23 years, having formerly resided at Hillsboro, Kansas, and Henderson, Nebraska.
He was injured in an automobile accident on September 3, sustaining a fractured hip. This, coupled with the chock, was the cause of his death.
Mr. Regier's wife preceded him in death on February 16, 1936. He is survived by two sons, John R. Regier of Monterey, P. D. Regier of Dinuba, three daughters, Mrs. Anna Petker of Reedley, Mrs. Susanna Toews of Enid, Oklahoma,m and Miss Marie Regier of Los Angeles. There ware also 16 grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
