— Funeral services for David Regier who died suddenly last Friday while on the way from Dodge City to his home in Garden City, were held at the West Zion church in Moundridge yesterday. Mr. Regier had formerly lived in Moundridge, having spent his early youth on a farm home west of there and had still retained his membership in that Church. He was driving in a car with a number of friends at death suddenly came upon him. The fune ral was largely attended.

D. F. Regier

David F. Regier was born May, 13, 1887 at Moundridge, Kansas.

He lived and grew to manhood with his parents on a farm southwest of Moundridge, at which time he was baptized and joined the Hebron Mennonite Church, later he transferred his membership to the West Zion church of Moundridge.

On October 15, 1916, he was united in marriage to Anna Schroeder of Canton, Kansas.

They lived in Moundridge four years thence moved to Garden City, Kansas, where they resided until his death.

He was of sincere disposition, trying always to do the right thing, above all tried to follow in the steps of his Master. He died march 4th, 1927. Age 39 years, 9 months and 22 days. — Moundridge Journal.
