— Funeral services were conducted in the Bethel College chapel Tuesday afternoon for Dr. C. C. Regier, 66, who passed away quite suddenly the morning of June 9 at his home in Newton following a heart attack. Dr. J. H. Langenwalter and Rev. J. F. Balzer of Crete, Neb. officiated at the services. Dr. Regier had moved to Newton in August 1949 following his retirement as professor of history at West Liberty State college, in West Virginia. Surviving him are his wife, the former Elizabeth Linscheid, whom he married in 1946, three children by a former marriage and a number of brothers and sisters.
