MRS. MARIA REGEHR

(Mrs.) Maria Regehr of Winnipeg passe away on May 23. She was born to David an Maria Klassen in southern Russia on August 10, 1899. She accepted the Lord as teenager, and was baptized on May 17,1919 She married Cornelius Regehr on October 17 1923. The young family emigrated to Canada in 1926, settling on a farm near Arnaud Manitoba. Here they became active member of the Arnaud Mennonite Brethren church When their health did not allow them to continue farming, the couple moved to Winnipeg, where they joined the Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church in 1959.

She leaves to mourn her husband Cornelius; her son, William; her daughter, Elvira two brothers, one sister and seven grand children. The funeral was held in the Elmwood MB Church.
