Frank Henry Regehr was born June 16, 1902, in Ufa province, Russia. He immigrated to American with his family in 1911. The family lived in Los Angeles for about six months before settling near Reedley, Calif., where they purchased a small fruit farm.

He accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour in December 1913 and was baptized in July 1914 in the Kings River. He became a member of the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church at that time.

During his teens, the family moved to Bakersfield. He and his wife, Artha, were married June 2, 1927, at the MB Church in Bakersfield. They moved to South Gate, where he had a home. They were members of Immanuel Mennonite Church, Los Angeles, where they were active in the life of the church. He also served on the board of directors of Counseling with a Purpose radio broadcast and was a member of Christian Businessmen's Committee and Gideons International.

He began employment with the Aluminum Company of America in 1938. He retired from the company in 1967.

He took his family on frequent outings to the beach and to the mountains. Even while vacationing in the mountains, he enjoyed serving the Lord through a Sunday school class he taught at Green Valley Lake. He took many pictures on these outings. He also enjoyed listening to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball games.
