Anna Mae “Maisie” Reeser, 83, of Normal, passed away at 12:03 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 8, 2015) in Normal.

Maisie was born March 13, 1931 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Virginia Poole Beasley. She married Kenneth L. Reeser on Nov. 29, 1958 in Normal. He passed away Dec. 8, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas “Junior” Beasley Jr.

Surviving are three children, Connie (Blair) Reeser-Hall, Rhonda (Bill) Friedrich and Kevin (Jennifer) Reeser; four grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Jannusch and Kathy Howe; one brother, Jerry (Shirley) Beasley and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Cheryl) Reeser, Bob (Evelyn) Reeser, Larry (Louise) Reeser and Pat (Rick) Burns.

Maisie, originally from Farmer City, lived most of her life east of LeRoy. She was a member of Mennonite Church Normal and LeRoy Rutledge Club. She worked 25 years at State Farm Insurance Co.
