HENRY D. REDGER

Henry D. Redger, son of David and Lena Redger, was born in Russia April 27, 1874. He died Jan. 25, 1956, at the age of 81 years and nine months. He came to America with his parents at the age of six months. He spent most of his life in Oklahoma and Kansas. About 13 years ago, after retiring from farming, he moved to California.

He was married to Mary Schartner May 3, 1903. He lived a quiet and peaceful life with his fellowmen, and had a meek and quiet spirit which, in the sight of God, is of great price.

Mr. Redger was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Mrs. William Jantz. He is survived by his widow, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. John Parrott of Arcata, Calif. and Mrs. John Janzen of Atwater, Calif.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Wallace Findley and Miss Waneta Jantz, and four grandsons, John, Robert and Bill Parrott and Eldon Janzen; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Simon Koehn of Durham, Kansas, and Mrs. Eli Schmidt of Greensburg, Kansas; and three brothers, Lue and Neal Redger of Durham and Sam Redger of Greensburg, Kansas.

We mourn over the death of our loved one but not as those who have no hope.
