MRS. KATHERINE REDEKOP

Mrs. Katherine Redekop was born April 28, 1901, to Rev. and Mrs. Jacob A. Wall of Mountain Lake, Minn. She lost her mother through death on Dec. 30, 1906.

She accepted Christ as her Saviour and was baptized upon the confession of her faith by Elder J. A. Wall in the summer of 1919 and became a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren church at Lustre, Mont.

On Sept. 29,1921 she was united in marriage to Jacob K. Redekop. To this union were born five children: Rosa (Mrs. Louis Klassen) of Mt. Lake, who passed away on Sept. 24, 1945; Calvin of Chicago, Ill.; Ella (Mrs. Harvey harder) of Butterfield, Minn.; Jacob of Chicago, Ill.; and Bertha of Goshen, Ind.

She was failing in health for the past two years, during which time she depended increasingly upon the Lord for her strength.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, one sister and one daughter.

She reached the age of 56 years and 10 months, less three days.

She leaves to mourn her early departure her husband, Jacob, two sons, two daughters, one son-in-law and one daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, five sisters, three brothers, and a host of friends and relatives.

She was an example for us through her active and devoted life in the service of the Lord. ". . . Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them" (Rev. 14:13). — The Family.
