MARY ELLEN REDDIG

Mary Ellen Reddig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Reddig, was born at Lehigh, Kansas on April 13, 1924. At the age of four years she came to Montana with her parents, with whom she resided in the vicinity of Frazer until her death.

She was an invalid from infancy, and in the constant care and companionship of her parents. She was contented and happy in a condition where stronger souls would have been vanquished. Her friendly disposition was a joy to her parents and an inspiration to all who knew her well. She had been ill for the past two years, and her condition grew progressively worse the last six months. She endured much pain until her release by death at 5 a.m. on Sept. 28. 1954, en route to the Wolf Point hospital.

Now she rests, awaiting the resurrection morning, when she will be united with a new body, which will neither feel pain nor experience loneliness, nor will it be limited but perfect in every respect.

She reached the age of 30 years, five months and 15 days. Two brothers preceded her in death, Harry in young manhood and Johnnie in infancy.

In departing she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Reddig of Frazer, one sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Born of Culbertson, one sister-in-law and her husband, two nieces, one nephew, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Frazer High School gymnasium, with Rev. Karl Dick of Wolf Point in charge. Interment was made in the Glasgow cemetery.
