Five-Year-Old Boy Dies When Struck By Car Near Inman

Inman, Kan. — Funeral services for five-year-old Phillip Dwayne Ratzloff, who died when stuck by a car near here July3, were conducted last Sunday afternoon at the Inman Mennonite Church.

The boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip George Ratzloff, had gone to town with his mother and baby sister. On the way home Mrs. Ratzloff parked the car on a private road leading to their home while Phillip went across the highway to the mailbox. After getting the mail he let one car pass and then darted into the path of another car coming from the other direction. he was killed instantly.
