Funeral services were held at the EMB church on Feb. 18 for Katharina Ratzlaff, 89, a Good Samaritan resident. A native of Henderson, Neb., she moved to Mt. Lake in 1949 and worked at the hospital. She married Ben H. Ratzlaff in 1950. She continued to work in the hospital for a number of years. Her husband died in 1957. She is survived by three stepdaughters, three step-sons, 15 grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. — Helen Friesen.
