— Relatives from this area went to Corn, Okla. last week to attend funeral services for Mrs. Elmer H. Quiring and infant son, held Aug. 28 at the Corn M. B. church. Mrs. Quiring, 33, died during childbirth at the Oklahoma General Hospital, Clinton, and her small son, born prematurely, died a short time later. The services were in charge of Rev. T. L. Nussbaum, pastor of the Bergthal Mennonite church of which she was a member. A number of other ministers assisted in the service. Those from this area who attended were Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Klassen of Goessel, Mr. and Mrs. John Meek of Newton, and Milton Jantz of Moundridge. Mrs. Quiring was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Unger of Corn, and leaves her husband and three children.
