She was born to Cornelius and Katherina (Schroeder) Dalke and was the last survivor of that family. She attended country school at Cordell and Bible school in the community of Gotebo. During her teenage years she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and was baptized at the age of 16 at the Herold Mennonite Church.
She was married to Peter J. Quiring on June 12, 1917 at the Herold Mennonite Church. God blessed this union with 11 children.
In 1928 the family moved from Cordell, Okla. to Madrid, Neb. and in 1943 to Dallas, Ore. where she lived until her death.
She was faithful and active in the various churches of which she was a member, and served her Lord to the best of her ability. She was a dedicated Christian mother, and taught her children the things of Christ and encouraged them to personally accept the Savior. All ten of the children have made a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ and have been baptized.
