Abraham D. Plett, 80, died at his home in Rosenort on Aug. 21 after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the E. M. Church in Steinbach on Aug. 26, with Ministers Arnold Fast of Winnipeg and Henry Dueck of Steinbach officiating. Mr. Plett leaves to mourn his wife Martha, four sons, four daughters and many nephews, nieces and grandchildren. Mr. Plett was born in Steinbach. He moved to Rosenort in 1932 and was manager of the Rosenort Co-op for 10 years. Then he established his own business manufacturing various items. He had a brilliant and inventive mind, which laid the foundation for the present business, which now is carried on by his four sons.
