West Liberty, Ohio. — David Plank, 90, last of 10 children of the originator of the Sunday school movement in the Old Mennonite Church, died Dec. 27 at Bellefontaine, Ohio.

In 1863 his father, Bishop David Plank, succeeded in founding the first continuous Mennonite Sunday school in the Amish Mennonite church by consent of the congregation. The centennial of the Sunday school movement was celebrated at the South Union Mennonite Church here in October 1963 with the erection of an historical plaque.
