Creamery Manager Died Suddenly

Middlebury, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the Warren Street Mennonite church here on Sunday, May 4, for Melvin E. Plank, 61, manager of the Cooperative Creamery company here for 18 years. He died suddenly of a heart attack at his office on May 1.

Mr. Plank was active in the church here, serving as a Sunday school teacher, chorister and member of the board. He was secretary of the Midwest Creamery association.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elise Blough, a son Keith of Denver, Colo., daughter Joanne, at home, and four sisters.
