TOM LOWRY PETERS

Tom Peters was born to Melvin and Leona Peters on September 16, 1968, in Saskatoon. He was a thoughtful boy with quiet moments. He often used to say thank you for special treats in his lunch kit. He was in his first year in school.

He was a real buddy to his brother, enjoyed looking after his sister, and gave his family many happy moments. He spent many a happy hour on his bike, which he used to take along to family gatherings for biking with his cousins.

More than once he said he loved Jesus and had asked him to wash away his sins and come into his heart. He liked the song, "Peter, James and John in the sailboat."

On Tuesday morning, December 3, when Tommy was 6 years, 2 months and 17 days old, he was struck by a car as he crossed the highway to catch the school bus. He died immediately.

He leaves to mourn his parents, Melvin and Leona; a brother, Warren; a sister, Kristin; two sets of grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave A. Peters and Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Peters; and many relatives and friends.
