— Cornelius J. Peters, 80, of Hesston, died at the Bethel Deaconess hospital Saturday after an illness of five months. He was born in South Russia and had lived in Hesston for the past ten years. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Buhler Mennonite church, with Rev. A. J. Dyck and Rev. John Evans in charge. Survivors include his wife, Katherine; two sons, George C. of Newton and Dan C. of Great Bend; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Nachtigal of Newton, Mrs. Geo. Rector of Hutchinson, Mrs. Eva Thiessen of Denver, and Elizabeth Loop of Mentor, Kans.; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
