JULIUS J. PETERS

Julius J. Peters was relieved of intense suffering December 16, 1966. "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage" (Psalm 16:6). Born in Osterwick, South Russia on November 2, 1894. United in marriage with Sara Enns, Miehelsburg, Russia in l918. Seven sons and four daughters born into family; one son predeceased Mr. Peters in childhood.

Migrated to Canada in 1926. Found peace with God, was baptized and joined the Kelstern Mennonite Brethren Church in 1934. Moved to farm near Steinbach, Manitoba in 1948 and joined MB Church there. Remained a member there until his death. Underwent major surgery in 1962 and again in 1965. Admitted to Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach on November 26, 1966 and passed away December 16. Leaves to mourn his beloved wife, six sons, four daughters, four sons-in-law, four daughters-in-law and thirty-four grand-children.
