Elizabeth Peters died

peacefully, Nov. 14, 2008.

She was born Jan. 17, 1928

in Cabri, Sask. to Jacob and

Eva Dyck. Her family moved

to Yarrow, B.C. in 1937. She

committed her life to Christ

in her early teens, was baptized at Yarrow MB

Church in 1947, and attended Elim Bible School.

Elizabeth's love for Jesus and deep concern for

others was reflected in service to her church. She

enjoyed teaching Sunday school and volunteering

in the church library. Elizabeth married Abe Peters

in 1955, and side-by-side shared their dairy farm

in Abbotsford until Abe died in 1999. Elizabeth

enjoyed tending her flowers, visiting, reading,

gardening, and travelling. Her sense of humour

and joy of living endeared her to all. Predeceased

by Abe, Elizabeth is mourned by children Lorence

and Linda; 1 brother; 2 sisters-in-law. The funeral

was Nov. 20 at Yarrow (B.c.) MB Church.
