text of obituary:
HENRY H. PENZ (73)
Henry H. Penz (73)of Waldheim, Sask., was born in Friedensfeld, Russia, where he also spent the early years of his life. In 1919 he entered into into holy matrimony with Helena Siemens. They came to Canada in 1923. Before settling at Waldheim they found a home at Hepburn, later moved to Aberdeen. There, under the ministry of Rev. C. N. Hiebert he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, was baptized and received into the Iocal M.B. Church.
He seemed to have premonitions of his approaching death. When he was hospitalized on June 8th as a result of a heart attack he took this to be his last call. In the face of death he continued to show unswerving, triumphant assurance of salvation. On June 18th, after days of suffering, he peacefully entered into his eternal rest. Funeral services were conducted at the Waldheim M.B. Church on June 20th with Rev. J. D. Goertzen, Rev. John Block and Rev. H. A. Willems officiating.
He leaves to mourn his wife, 3 daughters, 5 sons, 19 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, 1 foster sister, many relatives and friends.
