Employed as a nurses' aid at Doctors' Hospital, she was returning home late at night when she apparently dozed at the wheel. The car left the road and crashed into a tree. She underwent emergency surgery, but died the following day.

Milverton, Ont. &#8212; A car-truck crash near here the evening of June 10 claimed the life of seven-year-old Pauline Nafziger. Her father Melvin Nafziger, driver of the car, suffered head injuries and a sister, Rochelle, has a broken arm.

Steinbach, Man. &#8212; The 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Penner, who farm near Elma, was instantly killed when the new tractor he was driving overturned on the highway.

While pulling a manure spreader, the tractor driven by Linden Penner evidently went partway into a ditch and then overturned as the youth tried to guide it out.

Two Children, Nurse Aid Die in Separate Highway Accidents

Plain City, Ohio.— A largely attended funeral was held at the Sharon Conservative Mennonite Church near here June 1 in memory of Mrs. Ben S. (Katie) Frey, 47, who died of injuries sustained in a one-car accident.

Employed as a nurses' aid at Doctors' Hospital, she was returning home late at night when she apparently dozed at the wheel. The car left the road and crashed into a tree. She underwent emergency surgery, but died the following day.
