EDMOND PENNER

Edmond Penner, son of Erdman and Susanna Blinn Penner, was born Dec. 2, 1898. He died at the Aurora, Neb. Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 25, 1966, having reached the age of 68 years and 28 days.

Edmond was born on a farm near Henderson, Neb., and was a lifetime resident of Hamilton County. Upon his confession of faith, he was baptized on June 8, 1924 by Rev. H. H. Epp and received into the Bethesda Mennonite Church.

Following the death of his parents, Edmond and his sister Elizabeth shared a home in Hampton. This past summer, for reasons of health, it became necessary for them to take up residence at the Sutton Community Home.

Survivors include one brother, Jacob of Hampton; five sisters, Susie (Mrs. George Goertzen) of Reedley, Calif., Elizabeth of Sutton Community Home, Marie (Mrs. Frank Dick) of Hampton, Kathryn (Mrs. John Janzen) of Aurora, and Helen (Mrs. Ted George) of Sutton; also nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 28 at the Bethesda Mennonite Church of Henderson.
