SERVICES HELD AT HILLSBORO FRIDAY FOR WELL KNOWN DRUGGIST
Hillsboro, Kans. — Last rites for Frank Penner, 65, well known Hillsboro druggist, were held at the First Mennonite church Friday afternoon, Sept. 28. Rev. H. T. Unruh, the pastor, was in charge, assisted by Rev. V. J. Boehringer of the E.U.B. church.
Mr. Penner was born on a farm near here and learned the mercantile business during nine years as an employee of the Shaeffler store. He then opened his own store, and continued in business until 1945.
