— Mrs. Ella Viola Penner, 45, wife of Harry Penner of Galva, died at the Bethesda hospital in Goessel on Saturday, April 9. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Emmanuel Mennonite church near Moundridge, Rev. Garman H. Wedel officiating. Mrs. Penner, a graduate of McPherson College, had taught school for 24 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Fred C. Wedel of Galva; two sisters, Marie Wedel of Galva and Mrs. Elmer Jantz of Canton; and one brother, Daton Wedel of Goessel.
