CORNIE PENNER

Cornie J. Penner was born December 15, 1930 in Arnaud, Manitoba, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Penner. After completing high school at the MCI in Gretna, Manitoba, he came to Winnipeg and took a five-year accounting course at the University of Manitoba.

On August 11, 1956 he was united in marriage to Hilda Kasdorf and made his home in Winnipeg. The home was blessed with three children - all by adoption.

Mr. Penner attended the Arnaud General Conference church until he came to Winnipeg. On October 7, 1956 he was baptized and accepted into the membership of the South-End MB Church. He served as bookkeeper for the Portage Ave. Church for the past five years.

An urgent operation on April 22 seemed to have been successful, but Mr. Penner passed to his eternal home on the day he expected to return to his earthly home.

He leaves to mourn his early passing his wife, Hilda, three children, Edwin, Kathy and Herbie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Penner, Arnaud; seven brothers, three sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.
