— Mrs. Helen Pankratz, 71, of Buhler, died Thursday morning, July 8, at the South Hospital in Hutchinson after a long illness. The funeral was held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church, conducted by Rev. Nick Rempel and Rev. C. F. Platt. Born May 9, 1900, in McPherson County, she married Andrew Pankratz on Sept. 24, 1933, who now survives her. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Farthing, Hutchinson, and Mrs. Helen Gaede, Shafter, Calif.; two brothers, Harry and Art Siemens, Buhler; and three sisters, Mrs. Martha Duerksen, Dinuba, Calif., Mrs. Marie Duerksen, Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Esther Siemens, Buhler.
