MRS. B. J. PANKRATZ

Mrs. Mary Hiebert Pankratz was born Oct. 26, 1903, in Marion county, Kansas and died March 31, 1950, at the age or 46 years, six months, and five days. She spent her childhood days with her parents, N. J. Hiebert.

In 1912 her parents moved to Inola, Okla. Here she received her elementary schooling, and here she also found her Saviour and was baptized upon confession of faith by Elder Abr. Ratzlaff July 6, 1919. She was received as member into the Eden Mennonite church of Inola, Okla., whose faithful member she remained until her death.

She had a lingering ailment which caused her much misery and unrest at times, but with the help of the Lord she bore it patiently until the Lord said it is enough and called her home.

On Feb 22, 1923, she was united in holy matrimony with B. J. Pankratz, with whom she shared joys and sorrows for over 27 years.

She leaves to mourn her early departure her husband: one daughter, Edna Lorene: one son. Elmer; her aged mother, Mrs. N. J. Hiebert of Chotou [sic Chouteau]. Okla.: six brothers and four sisters, Willie of Lancaster, Calif., Ella (Mrs. Mouttet) of Chotou [sic Chouteau]., Margaret (Mrs. Siemens) of Tahlequah, Malinda (Mrs. Bergen) of Germany, Fritz of Lakeport Calif., Arthur of North Hollywood, Calif., Bruno of Lancaster, Calif., Martha (Mrs. Funk) her twin sister of Bacone, Okla., John of Chotou [sic Chouteau], and Edwin of Van Nuys, Calif.
