Retired Berne Printer Dies at Age 85

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for William Norr, 85, retired farmer and printer, were held May 21 at the First Mennonite Church here, of which he was a member. He died May 18 after 18 months of failing health.

A native of Thieriengen, Germany, he came to this country as a child and was married here in 1903 to Philippine Sprunger. A printer for 33 years, he had been employed at the Berne Witness Company, the Economy Printing Concern, and Fort Wayne Newspapers, Inc.

Surviving in addition to the widow are two sons and five daughters and their families.
