Menn. Church, Royertown, Pa.

John Adams Nolf, born June 4, 1887, died December 27, 1936. In his youth, he was a faithful worker in the Sunday School of the Saucon Mennonite Church, near Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. Many of our older Mennonites will remember John’s father, Thomas A. Nolf, Deacon for many years at Saucon, and his mother Catherine. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Laura Adams Nolf, member and faithful worker, at Saucon. His Son, George W. Nolf, also survives. John was an active Christian Endeavor expert, a C. E. worker in Pennsylvania, Washington D. C., and California.

Died in San Francisco, California; body shipped to Allentown, Pennsylvania, for burial. Laid to rest in Durham Cemetery, near Riegelsville, Penna., after an impressive funeral service in which the Rev. H. C. Rhoads, Pastor of the Lutheran Wing, and Paul and Andrew Shelly, participated.
