Retired Farmer Dies At Washington, Ill.

Metamora, Ill. — Funeral services for John C. Nofsinger, 82, well-known retired farmer of the Washington community, were held Aug. 26 at the Calvary Mennonite Church there. Rev. Eric Weber and Rev. Heinz Janzen officiated.

Mr. Nofsinger was born in Washington Township on May 18, 1875, and farmed in the area for many years. He died Aug. 23 at the Washington Nursing Home.
