Western Oklahoma Pioneer Dies

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services for D. C. Nikkle, 88, one of the early-day farmers in this western Oklahoma region, were held June 25 at the Mennonite Brethren church of Collinsville, Okla. He died June22 at Tulsa where he and his wife had resided the past 28 years.

After farming near here for a number of years, Mr. Nikkle moved to Corn and engaged in the trucking business. He also taught school for a number of years.

Mrs. Nikkle is the former Carolina Bergthold. They observed their 67th wedding anniversary in May of this year.
