The two women, both widows, were accompanying three other Buhler women to evening church services at the West Liberty Mennonite Church northwest of Inman when the car was involved in a collision with one occupied by Mr and Mrs. Harry Toews and 10-month-old daughter, Inman. The crash occurred at an intersection of county roads west of Inman.

Other occupants of the Buhler car were Mrs. H. F. Schmidt, Anna Gaeddert, and her sister, Elizabeth The first two were hospitalized but have now been released. The Toews' were not seriously hurt.

Mrs. Dyck, the former Elizabeth Schmidt, was the widow of Rev. A. J. Dyck, long-time minister of the Hoffnungsau Church. Mrs. Nikkel was the former Sara Dyck. Both leave children and grandchildren.

Double Services Held For Kansas Women Who Died in Crash

Buhler, Kan. — Double funeral services will be held at the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church near here Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Abraham J. Dyck, 75, and Mrs. Abraham R. Nikkel, 75, both instantly killed in a two-car crash five miles west of Inman last Sunday night.

Rev. Dick Rempel, pastor of the church, will officiate.
