MRS. DELYON NIGHTINGALE

Services for Mrs. DeLyon (Barbara Jean Gage) Nightingale, 32, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the First United Methodist Church, Fort Cobb, Okla. Rev. Glenn Millard, the pastor, officiated assisted by Rev. J. C. Crabbe, pastor of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nightingale died unexpectedly Nov. 26 at Southwestern Hospital, Lawton. She became quite ill after coming to work at the bank Wednesday, was rushed to the Carnegie Hospital, then to the Lawton Hospital. She had suffered an apparent stroke.

She was born at Fort Cobb on Dec. 5, 1937, and had lived here all her life. She was a graduate of the Fort Cobb high school and attended Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts, Chickasha, for about a year. She was a member of the Methodist Church and an employee of the Washita Valley Bank.

She was married to DeLyon Nightingale on May 8, 1959 in the Fort Cobb Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Gage, and parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Nightingale, all of Fort Cobb; one brother, Tommy Gage of Weatherford; and four sisters, Mrs. Brenda Blundell of Oklahoma City, and Carolyn, Retha and Lavada Gage, all of the parental home.

Mrs. Glenn Millard was organist for the service and Mrs. Ted Fuller sang. Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery.
