WILLIAM J. NIESSEN

Bill Niessen of Kelowna, B.C. passed away on September 15. He was born to Henry and Agnes Niessen on June 26, 1924 in Aberdeen, Sask., and was raised there. During his early teens he chose the Lord as his Saviour and was baptized. After several years in the Navy he moved to Clearbrook, B.C.; married Katherine Janzen in Clearbrook on November 29, 1946; lived 25 years in Vancouver; moved to Kelowna in 1971 and became an active member of the MB church there. He established his own realty company in Kelowna, Von Realty. He is survived by his wife Katharine; five children: Lotti and husband John Dick of Fresno, Calif., Bonnie and husband Vic Thiessen of Indonesia, Bill Jr. and Brenda, and Erik, of Kelowna and Wendy and husband Irwin Kroeker of Winkler, Man.; one brother and two sisters.
