Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Grace Hill Church east of Newton, of which she was a long-time member. She passed to her eternal reward on Dec. 23, 1964, at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel, Kan., where she had received loving care since Septmber 1963. She reached the age of 83 years, ten months, and fifteen days. |

| + | Upon her confession of faith, she was baptized by Rev. Jacob R. Toews and received into the Grace Hill Mennonite Church on April 3, 1898. She loved her church and was anactive member as long as her health permitted. |

SUSANNA L. NICKEL
Susanna L. (Schmidt) Nickel, daughter of Andrew J. and Petronela (Nickel) Schmidt, was born Feb. 8, 1881, in Pleasant Township, Harvey County, Kan. She passed to her eternal reward on Dec. 23, 1964, at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel, Kan., where she had received loving care since Septmber 1963.
