&bull; Mrs. Sara Nickel, 88, lifelong resident of the Hillsboro community, died Feb. 13 at Salem Hospital here. She had suffered a stroke of paralysis in March of last year. the funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon at the Trinity Mennonite Church, with Rev. Victor Sawatzky officiating. Mrs. Nickel was the widow of H. J. Nickel, who died in 1928. Survivors include four children, Elizabeth of Hillsboro, Rudolf of Peabody, Wilma of Emporia, and Ida Mae of Wichita; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. F. N. Funk.
