A highway accident near Plum Coulee, Manitoba on June 4 claimed the life of Peter C. Nickel, 55-year-old farmer there. A car driven by Henry E. Hildebrand, 20, of Winkler struck the rear of a farm trailer which Mr. Nickel was pulling behind a tractor. The trailer box was pushed forward, knocking Mr. Nickel to the ground. He died the following day.
