ohn Cornelius Nickel died Dec. 2. He was born Apr. 13, 1924 in Krivoy Rog, Ukraine to Cornelius and Jus - tina Nickel. The family suffered much during the political unrest before and after and fellowship with others. He is mourned by brothers Robert (Diana), Elgin (Marlene), and Neville (Wendy); sisters Beatrice, Patricia (Carl) Willberg, and Grace (Dorne) Fyten; many nieces and nephews. The funeral was Dec. 16 at linden MBChurch. John Isaak Jr. John Isaak Jr. died peacefully Nov. 30. He was born in Win- nipeg Jan. 25, 1950, to John and Agnes Isaak . After graduating with the first computer technology class from Red River Community College, Winnipeg, he spent the next 30 years at Manitoba Telecom Services in a variety of computer-related jobs. An early retirement package allowed John to pursue other interests and to continue working with computers part- time for the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. John's faith in God was the WWII. After the war, John moved to Canada, first settling in Manitoba in 1949. He married Anna Zielke June 7, 1952 and they moved to guiding principle in his life. This was reflected Virgil, Onto John was a construction worker by the way he treated others and cheerfully until 1963. He then worked for General Motors until retirement in 1989. John accepted Jesus 3S Saviour in the early 1960s. He had many interests such as reading, music, the outdoors, md working at Camp Crossroads. In 1994, he Nas diagnosed with cancer and not expected
