93-YEAR-OLD NATIVE OF POLAND CALLED BY DEATH AT BUHLER

Buhler, Kans. — Funeral services for Henry H. Nickel, 93-year-old retired farmer and native of Poland, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here Oct. 24, Rev. J. J. Toews officiating. He died at his home here Oct. 20 after an illness of two months.

Mr. Nickel, who was born in Polish Russia on Oct. 2, 1860, farmed here for many years before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Sara, of the home; two sons, Sam of Buhler and Henry of Camino, Calif., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
